Appointed candidates will collaborate closely with CCMA faculty on cutting-edge research projects involving design, analysis and implementation of advanced numerical methods and algorithms in interdisciplinary applications. The position includes the possibility of an annual 1-1 teaching load. 

Education and Experience: Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in mathematics, applied mathematics, or a closely related field such as statistics, computer science, physics, or engineering by the start date of employment. Strong expertise in one or more of the fields of scientific computing, data science, and quantum computing accompanied by strong programming skills are essential.

CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
