The Department of Mathematics at the University of Pittsburgh (main campus) invites applications for a three-year postdoctoral associate in Applied Analysis, to begin in the Fall Term 2024, pending budgetary approval. Responsibilities include conducting research, teaching two courses in year 1 and three courses in year 2 & 3, and participating in research seminars. Candidates from all areas of applied analysis are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of a Ph.D. degree in mathematics or a closely related field is required prior to the start of the appointment. Applicants should have strong research potential and some form of experience teaching in mathematics. Application Instructions:
