Position Description:    

The Department of Mathematics at Temple University invites applications for a (non-tenure track) postdoctoral position under the mentorship of Professor Jaclyn Lang. Candidates should have interests in algebraic number theory, broadly interpreted. This includes, but is not limited to, automorphic representations, Galois representations, Iwasawa theory, and the Langlands program.

The appointment is for two years, starting July 1st, 2024, and carries the possibility of being extended for a third year. The teaching load is one course per semester during the initial two-year appointment. This would increase to a 2-1 teaching load during the potential third year.

Applications should include a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, statements on research and teaching, and at least four letters of recommendation, one of which addresses the candidate’s teaching qualifications.
