The Department of Mathematics at the University of Arizona welcomes applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position. This appointment will begin in Fall 2026. The position is renewable for up to three years, contingent upon satisfactory performance. The Postdoctoral Research Associate I will maintain an active research program and will benefit from a robust program of professional development, seehttps://sites.arizona.edu/math-postdoc-program/ for details. Members of the department create, communicate, and apply mathematics of the highest caliber through activities such as internationally recognized research and graduate education, award winning undergraduate programs, and extensive outreach to local schools. Over the last five years, a large percentage of the faculty has been awarded grants and contracts from external funding agencies, with total expenditures averaging about $3.4 million per year.
