UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, RIVERSIDE DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS

FACULTY POSITION IN PURE MATHEMATICS

Applications and nominations are invited for a tenure track faculty position beginning July 1, 2016. Applications are welcome from those working in all areas of Pure Mathematics. The position will be at the assistant professor level.

A PhD in Mathematics is required. Tenure track assistant professor applicants are expected to have demonstrated excellent research and teaching, normally including major contributions beyond the doctoral dissertation. Responsibilities of this position include teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses and seminars, conducting scholarly research and participation in departmental and university service activities. Established criteria of the University of California will determine the salary and the level of appointment.
