The Department of Mathematics at the University of Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor starting August 2026. Duties will consist of research and teaching in mathematics, as well as departmental service. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Mathematics or a related field at the time of appointment. Preference shall be given to applicants with research specialties related to algebraic geometry, algebra, or number theory. Successful applicants will carry outstanding credentials in mathematical research and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
