The School of Mathematics at the University of Minnesota invites applications for a post-doctoral position in Analysis and PDEs under the supervision of Svitlana Mayboroda beginning Fall 2018. The position is supported by the interdisciplinary NSF grant RAISE-TAQS: The Hidden Structure of the Disorder in Quantum Systems DMS 1839077. We seek a candidate with strong background in Harmonic Analysis, PDEs, or Geometric Measure theory. Additional expertise in Numerical Analysis and Quantum Physics is desirable, but not required. The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The preferred start date is the Fall semester of 2019, and the duration is two years, with a possibility of extending to the third year depending on funding and performance.
