The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of South Florida seeks to fill two 9-month, full-time Visiting Instructor positions on our main (Tampa) campus with possible renewals for up to a total of three years. The start date for the positions is August 9, 2021. Duties will include instruction and coordination of lower-level Mathematics and/or Statistics courses, including Calculus. Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree from an accredited institution in Mathematics, Statistics or a closely-related field of specialization (by August 1, 2021) or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. Preference will be given to applicants with a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics or a closely-related field and experience teaching in an auditorium setting.
