Description: The Department of Mathematics at The University of Texas at Austin is seeking candidates for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions to begin in Fall 2024. Excellence in research and teaching is at the core of our mission. Our core faculty includes around 50 tenured and tenure-track members, many of whom have attracted top national and international distinctions. The duties for tenure-track position consist of teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting independent research, and may include the supervision of M.A. or Ph.D. students. The salary will be commensurate with the level at which the position is filled and the qualifications of the person who fills it.
