The Department of Mathematics at the University of Tennessee invites applications for one Postdoctoral Research Associate (non-tenure eligible) position in Mathematical Data Science with an appointment beginning Fall 2018.

The successful candidate will work directly with Professor Vasileios Maroulas in the area of topological data analysis, computational statistics and applied probability. The position is a 12-month 100% research appointment renewable for one year, based upon annual performance. A PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent degree is required. Salary will be competitive.
