The Research Training Group (RTG) in Analysis and PDE at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, funded by the NSF-DMS RTG program, seeks applicants for up to two 3-year postdoctoral positions. 


Successful applicants will work with a mentor from among the RTG faculty on research projects of mutual interest and will engage in professional development activities such as seminars, conferences, and undergraduate and graduate research. Successful candidates will teach 2 courses per academic year.  Faculty in the group are listed on our webpage, https://hilbert.math.wisc.edu/analysisrtg/

 

Each position includes funding for the 9-month academic year, for up to three years, and two summer months for up to 2 years, depending on performance and subject to availability of funding. Applicants are expected to hold (by the start date of their appointment) a PhD in Mathematics or a related field and must be within two years of receiving their degree.  (Exceptions to the two-year limit may be possible in cases of significant career disruptions.)  Appointments are expected to commence August 21, 2023.  US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
