The Vanderbilt Department of Mathematics invites applications for multiple Visiting Assistant Professor positions with a start date of Fall 2024. Candidates are required to have a PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field. We are looking for individuals with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. Visiting Assistant Professorships are two-year, non-tenure-track, non-renewable appointments with a focus on teaching. The teaching load is 3-3. Application review will commence on November 1, 2023 and will continue until the positions are filled. Candidates should provide the AMS Cover Sheet, a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a teaching statement, a teaching portfolio consisting of one to two years of raw course evaluation data, and three letters of recommendation that discuss teaching qualifications.
