Wentworth Institute of Technology is seeking applicants interested in joining the Wentworth community as a Director of First-Year Math for the School of Computing and Data Science. This inaugural position reports to the Dean of the School of Computing & Data Science and supports students’ success in foundational mathematics courses at the university. In particular, the director will be tasked with developing new pedagogy, creating a training program for instructors, evaluating curriculum, helping implement our new Calculus sequence, working on the logistics of an observation program for all sections of foundational mathematics courses and establishing partners across campus for collaboration.
