The Department of Mathematics in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign seeks applicants to fill one or more positions of Instructor or Lecturer. These positions involve teaching a range of courses in the department.

Duties & Responsibilities: • Teach mathematics courses. These may include large service courses and small discussion sections. • Supervise TAs and graders for these courses. • Develop and maintain curriculum and stewardship material for these courses.

Minimum Required Qualifications: • Masters degree in Mathematics for Instructor. Ph.D. in Mathematics for Lecturer. • College teaching experience. • Evidence of quality teaching.

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience teaching large introductory service courses. • Experience with TA supervision. • Experience in course development.

The Instructor/Lecturer positions are full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure track position appointed on a 9-month service basis.
