Position Summary: We invite applications for non-tenure-track appointments to teach undergraduate courses in mathematics and other duties as assigned. The position carries a teaching load of 15 credit hours per semester and other duties as assigned. Candidates must have an M.S. in Math Education, Math or closely related field by the time of appointment. The math department has 20 full-time faculty, several adjuncts and one staff that offer Math and Math Education programs and service courses to the university. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Develop and teach undergraduate and remedial courses in the Department of Mathematics. Effectively advise students. Engage students in high impact learning practices. Provide impactful departmental, college, university, and professional service to the university, community and state.

Required qualifications:

M.S. in Math Education, Math or closely related field.

Preferred qualifications: Excellent oral & written communication skills. Evidence of assessment methods that facilitate continuous improvement in teaching. Evidence of teaching excellence at the university level. Experience with online instruction. Experience using a variety of technology and software applications in the classroom.
