Fellowship Description:    

Applications are invited for the Britton Postdoctoral Fellowships in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McMaster University. These fellowships, which are named after our former colleague Dr F Ronald Britton, provide opportunities to engage in research in mathematics and/or statistics, with a limited amount of teaching, and are particularly suitable for talented mathematicians or statisticians who have recently completed their PhD. Positions are tenable for two or three years, depending on the research project and the available funding. To learn more about the department, please visit our web page.

The Fellowships are open to exceptional candidates of any nationality. Selection will be based upon the candidate's research potential and fit with one of the active research groups in the Department.  The fellowships normally start September 1, 2018 and provide an annual stipend salary of $50000 together with a grant for research travel expenses.
