<pre>POSITION SUMMARY: Cornell College Department of Mathematics and Statistics -  three-year, full-time, non-tenure track appointment in applied mathematics.   The College seeks individuals who are committed to building a creative, dynamic and diverse workplace that celebrates the uniqueness of our faculty, staff and students.  The College is committed to excellence in teaching and encourages interdisciplinary interests among its faculty.  Applicants interested in promoting applied mathematics to under-represented populations in mathematics and a desire to mentor students from under represented populations for success in applied mathematics are desired.  

APPOINTMENT: three-year, full-time, non-tenure track appointment.  Position starts fall 2018. 

QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. or ABD in applied mathematics. Demonstrated excellence in teaching is required. If a qualified individual in applied mathematics is not found, individuals with other mathematical specialties will be considered.  
RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaching responsibilities include calculus, non-calculus based statistics, differential equations and an upper division two course sequence in applied mathematics
