The Department of Mathematics at the University of Connecticut, Storrs, invites applications for an Assistant Research Professor position. This full-time, non-tenure track, nine-month faculty appointment will begin August 23, 2018 with an expected duration of three years. The teaching load is two (2) courses per semester or equivalent.

Preference will be given to candidates whose research interests intersect those of the permanent faculty who work in Harmonic Analysis, Geometric Analysis and Partial Differential Equations. Additional information about the department may be found at

A Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics within the last four years; demonstrated evidence of excellent teaching ability; and significant evidence of research potential in the areas listed above.

This position is for an initial duration of one year, renewable for up to two additional years (three years total), contingent on satisfactory performance, mutual agreement and availability of funds.
