The University of Dubuque invites applications for a Full-time Faculty position in Mathematics beginning August, 2018. Preferred qualifications include a doctorate in mathematics or statistics (master’s degree in statistics would be considered) and teaching experience. A background in and passion for teaching statistics would be highly regarded. The position may be tenure track, depending on candidate qualifications. Ongoing responsibilities include teaching 24 credit hours per year, advising students, maintaining a scholarship agenda, and participating in the broader life of the University.

The University of Dubuque (UD) was founded in 1852 and maintains its historic ties to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Since the late 1990s, UD has transformed into a mission driven, learning-centered Christian university serving approximately 1900 traditional undergraduate students and 500 graduate, non-traditional, and seminary students. One hundred full-time faculty members are committed to serving a student population that, at the undergraduate level, includes approximately 30% students of color.
