The Department of Mathematics at Bucknell University invites applicants for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position in Mathematics or Statistics to begin in August 2018. The initial appointment will be for nine months, although reappointment for additional years is possible contingent upon satisfactory performance, departmental needs, and funding approval by the University. Applicants from all areas of mathematics and statistics are encouraged to apply. Qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. in Mathematics or Statistics, and a strong commitment to teaching. We seek a teacher-scholar who will contribute to the department’s focus on inclusiveness and the liberal arts mission.
