Description of Duties: SUNY Polytechnic Institute invites applications for Visiting Assistant Professor (non tenure-track) in Applied Mathematics. The position will begin in August 2018, and will be located at our Albany campus. The teaching load is 3 courses per semester, and the position is for one year with potential for renewal. Preference will be given to candidates who have earned the PhD degree, and who have demonstrated experience teaching a broad range of introductory and advanced courses in mathematics. Other reasonable duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D in math or related field, from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized organization.
