The Mathematical Sciences Department at the University of Massachusetts Lowell invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor to start on September 1, 2019. Preference will be given to mathematicians working in statistics or related fields such as probability theory, data science or image analysis. The successful candidate will be expected to initiate and participate in funded research programs and to contribute to the department's teaching mission in the candidate's area of specialty. UMass Lowell has a diverse group of faculty who utilize mathematical research tools.
