Position Description:    

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Susquehanna University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of mathematics and computer science to start in August 2019. All areas of research will be considered.

Qualifications for the position include a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, a high potential for research, and a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Preference will be given to applicants who can teach both mathematics and computer science. The successful candidate will teach lower and upper level courses in the majors, including in computer science. In addition to teaching and research, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in service to the department and university.
