Robert and Sara Lumpkins Postdoctoral Fellow Department of Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, IndianaThe Department of Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics (ACMS) in the University of Notre Dame is accepting applications for a Robert and Sara Lumpkins Postdoctoral Fellowship to be filled in Academic Year 2019-2020. This is a non-renewable position with an appointment length ranging from one, up to a maximum of three, years.
Preference will be given to applicants whose research includes multi-disciplinary collaborations and aligns with the research interests of the department.
ACMS includes research groups in applied mathematics, statistics and computational science. ACMS offers a Bachelor of Science, a doctoral degree, a research masterâs degree, and a professional masterâs degree. ACMS is a department in the College of Science. The teaching load for the Lumpkins Instructorship is one course each semester. The position begins in August 2019.

QUALIFICATIONS
The successful applicant must have a record of success in research and at the start of the appointment, a doctorate in statistics, biostatistics, or a closely related field.
