Position Description:    

Dakota State University is accepting applications for an Assistant Professor in Cryptography/Computer Science in the Beacom College of Computer and Cyber Sciences. Applicants are expected to have a strong background and good publication record (or potential to publish) in modern cryptography, preferably in “provable security”, a strong interest in theoretical foundations of cryptography, and a strong motivation and ability to perform excellent research. The successful applicant is expected to have systems programming experience, experience with C/C++/Java/Go/Node.js, mobile development experience, web development experience, desktop development experience, domain expertise in cryptography, crypto currencies, elastic databases, concurrency, and networking protocols.
