| The Department of Mathematics at Harbin Engineering University invites applications for two open-rank faculty positions in the area of Computational Mathematics beginning in Fall 2019 (or on a mutually agreed date). Duties include mathematical research, undergraduate and graduate teaching (1+1), and departmental and university service.
Required Qualification is Ph.D. or an equivalent degree in mathematics or a closely related field and an established research record in mathematics.
Based on qualifications, salaries are competitive by international standard and among the highest in China.

Harbin Engineering University is established in 1953. The Department of Mathematics offers undergraduate program, Master program and PhD program. Currently, there are 50 faculty members and around 200 graduate students in the mathematics department. The research areas of faculty members include geometric representation theory, topology, differential equations, Computational Mathematics, dynamic systems, mathematical biology, wavelet analysis, and image processing etc. |
