Position Description:    

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Berry College invites applications for a 3-year visiting instructor position in Mathematics beginning August 2019. The teaching load for this position will be 12 credit hours per semester. The ideal candidate will demonstrate aptitude and enthusiasm for teaching in a liberal arts environment and a desire to contribute to our rich mathematics culture. Our department has a strong commitment to excellent and innovative instruction in a student-centered environment. Interest in mathematical research is preferred but not required. Opportunities for mathematical-based research in fields such as healthcare, engineering, and environmental studies are readily available through collaboration with a variety of Berry College’s established programs. Applicants must hold a graduate degree in Mathematics or a closely related field. Preference may be given to candidates with a background in applied mathematics.
