The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Rutgers University-Newark invites applications for a tenure-track assistant or associate professor of mathematics interested in interdisciplinary research with physics to start September 2019. 

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to establish a vigorous, externally funded research program and to teach at both graduate and undergraduate levels. 

Requirements: A Ph.D. in mathematics, at least two years of postdoctoral experience, an outstanding record of research accomplishments in pure mathematics as well as of effective teaching are required.
