Position description: The Department of Biological Statistics and Computational Biology Cornell University invites applications for a lecturer position. Information about the department appears at http://stat.cornell.edu/

Applicants should have demonstrated interest and excellence in teaching statistics at an introductory through advanced undergraduate level and leadership potential in Cornell’s statistics and data science educational missions.

Qualifications: An MS in statistics or a closely related field is required and have prior experience teaching statistics (preferably at the college/university level).

Preferred Qualifications: A PhD in statistics or closely related field and have prior experience teaching statistics (at the college/university level).

Salary and Benefits: Competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

This is a full-time, calendar year appointment. Appointments of lecturers are for periods of not more than three years and are renewable depending on funding and performance.
