The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Rutgers University-Newark invites applications for two full-time (academic year), non-tenure track positions at the rank of Teaching Instructor/Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor for the 2019-2020 academic year, beginning September 1, 2019. The successful candidate should have several years of experience teaching Computer Science at the college level (or other relevant experience), outstanding teaching skills, and a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Experience in administrating undergraduate computer courses is highly desirable. This position will be for one year, renewable contingent on satisfactory performance, availability of funding, and need for the positions. Rutgers non-tenure track positions have competitive salary and benefits. Application review will begin on March 1, 2019 and continue until the position is filled.

Minimum Education and Experience: M.A. or Ph.D. in computer science or closely related field. Experience in teaching Computer Science to a diverse undergraduate population is strongly preferred.
