The newly established Department of Statistics and Data Science invites applications and nominations for all ranks of tenured and tenure-track positions (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Full Professor and Chair Professor) in all areas of statistics and data science, with a start date of August 2020 or after. Candidates should have demonstrated excellence in research and a strong commitment to teaching. A doctoral degree is required at the time of appointment. Candidates for senior positions must have an established strong record of research and leadership in their research areas. The language of instruction can be either Chinese or English. Salary and start-up fund for long-term appointment are highly competitive and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
