The Department seeks candidates with outstanding records of undergraduate teaching and excellent research potential in areas that will complement the research of the permanent faculty. Candidates will be expected to support the learning needs of students from diverse backgrounds, and the Department is committed to engaging communities underrepresented in the academy. Postdoctoral Fellows are expected to teach 12 credit hours in an academic year and to contribute to the vibrant research environment in the Department of Mathematics.
