Benedictine College invites applications for a one-semester Visiting Assistant Professor in Mathematics position starting August 2019. This position is paid at the assistant professor level. Desired qualifications include strong potential in teaching; the ability to mentor undergraduate research in a liberal-arts environment is preferred. At least a Master’s degree in mathematics or a related field is desired. Teaching duties may include an advanced course for our own majors, service courses for engineering and other science majors, and/or general education classes.

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science currently has six full-time members and is housed in a STEM building that has just completed a $25M expansion and renovation. The department anticipates a search for a tenure–track assistant professor in mathematics position starting in August 2020, for which the successful candidate is welcome to apply.
