Applications are invited for tenure-track and visiting professorship positions at any level (assistant, associate, or full professor) in the Department of Mathematics at Brigham Young University to begin in August 2020. The department has a strong commitment to undergraduate education and has a substantial doctoral program. Candidates will be evaluated on evidence of excellent teaching and the potential to make significant research contributions. Applications in all areas of mathematics are welcome. The application deadline is October 11, 2019.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in mathematics; demonstrated excellence in teaching; demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality mathematical research.

Duties and responsibilities: Teaching mathematics at the undergraduate and graduate level; conducting independent research; mentoring students at the Ph.D., master’s, and undergraduate levels; supporting university, college, and department goals and missions.
