Faculty Position in Algebra and Number Theory with preferred emphasis on Computation

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Oklahoma is experiencing an exciting multi-year period of growth and development. We encourage well-qualified individuals to apply for a full-time, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Algebra and Number Theory beginning August 2020.

Normal duties consist of teaching two courses per semester, conducting research, and rendering service to the department, university, and profession. 

Expectations 
Applicants should have an earned doctorate, postdoctoral experience and should have a demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching. 

We seek strong candidates from across Algebra and Number Theory. Preference will be given to applicants whose work involves computational aspects of the subject. However, outstanding candidates in all areas of Algebra and Number Theory will be considered.
