The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Washington University in St. Louis seeks two William Chauvenet Post-doctoral Lecturers in Mathematics, whose term will begin in the fall of 2020. These appointments are for a term of two years with the possibility of extension for a third academic year. The teaching load is three one-semester courses per year. Applicants should have research interests that mesh with those of our permanent faculty, and have demonstrated excellence in teaching. Although all applications will be considered, we will pay special attention to applicants working in Algebra (Algebraic Geometry, Commutative Algebra, Combinatorics) or Analysis.
