Position Description:    

The Department of Mathematics at Worcester State University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment in mathematics to begin September 2020. Applicants with interest in teaching applied mathematics courses are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching 12 credits per semester, advising undergraduate students, continued scholarly activity, and service to the department and university. WSU is part of the Higher Education Consortium of Central Massachusetts, an association of twelve local institutes, which provides opportunities for collaboration with researchers and educators. Class sizes are limited to 25 students for upper level mathematics classes and 32 for lower level. 

Requirements: 

Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in mathematics, statistics or a closely related field by August 31, 2020. Applicants must be committed to excellent undergraduate teaching.
