The mathematics department at the University of Dallas invites new or recent mathematics doctoral recipients to serve as a post-doctoral teaching fellow for a term of two years, renewable for one additional year, beginning in the Fall of 2020.  The unique emphasis for this position is to provide experience in teaching mathematics using inquiry-based learning methods (such as the Moore method).  The successful candidate will teach three courses each semester, at least one of which will be taught using inquiry-based methods.  The mathematics department has a long, well-established history of using inquiry-based learning in many of its course offerings, both for majors and non-majors.  Financial support may be available for attending conferences focused on inquiry-based methods in mathematics.  Further information about the department can be found at .
