Position Description:    

Kennesaw State University and the Department of Mathematics in the College of Science and Mathematics (CSM) invites applications for up to two tenure-track Assistant Professor of Mathematics positions in Discrete Mathematics to begin August 2020.

Successful applicants will be strongly committed to inclusive teaching practices and student success and be ready to invest deeply in KSU students. They must also show potential for establishing an outstanding research program and securing external funding. We are particularly interested in applicants who can complement and enhance the existing research in the department. Current Discrete Mathematics research at KSU includes graph theory, discrete optimization, combinatorial number theory, and enumerative combinatorics, but we encourage applicants from a broad range of Discrete Mathematics disciplines.

Applicants must have an earned doctorate or the foreign equivalent in Mathematics by August 1, 2020.
