The Department of Astrophysical Sciences in partnership with the Program in Applied and Computational Mathematics (PACM) at Princeton University seeks applications for a tenured or tenure track Professor working in areas of astronomy and applied and computational mathematics. We are particularly interested in applicants who are involved in development, implementation, and application of computational methods to solve fundamental problems in astrophysics. Candidates should have a commitment to teaching in both Astrophysical Sciences and PACM, and a demonstrated high impact research program. Information on resources and research programs in the Department of Astrophysical Sciences can be found at while information about the interdisciplinary program at PACM can be found at The successful candidate will have the opportunity to guide students and pursue research in both programs, and to join the Princeton Institute for Computational Science and Engineering (PICSciE) as an Associated Faculty member.
