Postdoctoral Research Associate in Data Science

Position Description The Data Science Initiative at Brown University seeks applications for one-year postdoctoral fellowship positions in the area of data science with a start date of July 1, 2020 or earlier.

Brown's Data Science Initiative (DSI) serves as a campus hub for research and education in data science. Engaging partners across campus and beyond, DSI facilitates and conducts both domain-driven and fundamental research in data science, educates the next generation of data scientists, and explores the impact of the data revolution on culture, society, and social justice. The DSI values diversity and inclusion as essential to achieving excellence.

Qualifications Candidates are required to have received a Ph.D. degree or equivalent by the start of this appointment and have a strong research record consistent with their level of experience. We seek candidates who work in the areas of Brown's TRIPODS themes, namely Geometry and topology of data, Causal and model based inference, and Data analysis on massive graphs and networks.
