ROLE of the POSITION

The successful candidate is expected to teach effectively four sections of math/stat courses, including courses such as Math 120, 124, 126, 127, 128, 132, and Stat 152, each fall and spring semester, and to provide services to the department. During summers (approximately May 15 – August 15), there are no duties; however, there is often an opportunity to teach for additional compensation.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires Master’s in Mathematical Sciences (PhD preferred), or a closely related field, from a regionally accredited college or university. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching.  Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.

SALARY RANGE

Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
