The Mathematics Department, Syracuse University, seeks to fill one Research Post Doc position in Mathematics to begin in fall 2020. Preference will be given to candidates in Algebra or Analysis. However, any exceptional candidate whose research interests overlap and/or complement those of the existing faculty will be considered, particularly if the candidate can contribute to the department's mission of increasing diversity or inclusion. The responsibilities include conducting research, contributing to the intellectual life of the department, and teaching; teaching load is one course per semester. This position is for two years. Applicants should have a recent Ph.D. in an area of pure mathematics and strong potential in both research and teaching. For more information see
