Assistant/Associate Professor in Mathematics
University of Massachusetts Boston

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Massachusetts Boston invites applications for a tenure-track (non-tenured) position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor beginning September 1, 2020. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field, with the research area of interest open to all fields of mathematics. Candidates are expected to have a proven record in coordinating the implementation of effective pedagogical methods, in addition to a strong research program. The successful hire will play a central role in the coordination, assessment, and restructuring of the department’s lower division courses and contribute to other departmental and college service.
