The Department of Information and Mathematical Sciences in the College of Business, Influence, and Information Analysis (CBIAA) at Rockhurst University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Mathematics beginning in August 2020.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics. ABD status candidates will be considered, but Ph.D. is required by the time of appointment. Candidates with the experience necessary to teach a range of probability and statistics courses are particularly encouraged to apply. We are searching for candidates with a strong commitment to actively engaging students in the learning process through innovative teaching practices. In addition, we look for candidates who can demonstrate an interest in engaging students in undergraduate research and using technology to enhance student learning. Teaching responsibilities will include the full range of undergraduate courses and are equivalent to 18 credit hours per year.
