PhD degree preferable in Applied Mathematics. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to effectively communicate and present research ideas to researchers with different background (mathematicians and medical doctors). • Ability to clearly present and publish research outcomes in spoken (talks) and written (papers) form. • Good command of spoken and written English. • A good number of publications, judged according to career stage The preferred candidate will have experience in the analytical study of partial differential equations describing physical phenomena. The ability to deal with numerical simulations would be an advantage. A preference will be given to candidates with experience in complex fluids, in particular Navier-Stokes equations (regularity and or qualitative properties) or related fluid mechanics equations. The ability to interact with several BCAM groups will be an advantage. |
