Position Description:    

The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Memphis (UofM) invites applications for a two-year post-doctoral position in Analysis (with the possibility of renewal for a third year-pending budgetary allocations) beginning Fall 2020. Preference will be given to candidates in ergodic theory or functional analysis, especially those whose research programs and interests are compatible with current UofM faculty in those two areas.

Candidates must have received a Ph.D. within the last 3 years; demonstrate potential for excellence in research; and have a commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching. The teaching load will be three semester courses per year. Salary is competitive and includes benefits.
