Position Description:

Dr. Pressé lab is seeking theory/computational postdoctoral team members for work at Arizona State University, home to the largest contingent of Biophysical faculty in the USA and a vibrant environment in which to do Biophysical research. This position is a full-time, fiscal year appointment and the start date is flexible. The successful candidate will work with Dr. Pressé to develop strategies to infer dynamical models of processes from complex data sets--with resolution down to the single molecule level--inside living systems. Briefly, our goal is to unravel dynamical laws governing single molecule behavior in crowded environments from state-of-the-art imaging data sets. As such, our work trains postdocs and fosters cross-disciplinary knowledge across fields including optics, computational statistics, and biophysics. The postdoc hired herein will collaborate closely with experimentalists and graduate students. Group website: http://statphysbio.physics.asu.edu
