The Department of Mathematics at the University of Mount Union is seeking a full-time faculty colleague who is energetic and committed to undergraduate teaching to start August 1, 2020.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to quality teaching at the undergraduate level and should be able to teach a wide range of mathematics courses, particularly statistics and applied mathematics courses. This is a non-tenure track one-year renewable appointment, with the potential to transition to a tenure track faculty position.

This position isrequired to completeassigned University compliance training as communicated by the University.

Ph.D. preferred, or ABD, in statistics or applied mathematics.

Descriptive Information
The University of Mount Union, a private institution founded in 1846, offers a rigorous and relevant academic program that is grounded in the liberal arts tradition. Mount Union's 2,200 students can select from 62 broad-based and career-specific undergraduate majors as well as graduate programs in physician assistant studies and educational leadership.
