The Department of Mathematical Sciences at New Mexico State University invites applicants for a nine-month college-track faculty appointment to be filled at the Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning August, 2020. The position will support the teaching needs of the department. Individuals interested in contributing to a diverse academic community are particularly encouraged to apply.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics prior to August, 2020 and are expected to demonstrate excellence in classroom teaching and have the ability to teach across the undergraduate curriculum. Expected duties include teaching two courses per semester as well as support of the instruction and development of lower-level courses. For appointment at the Associate level, four years at the Assistant level and demonstrated ability to mentor and supervise Teaching Assistants (GAs) is required.
